Stag parties celebrate being single and getting married.
New Zealand boasts scenic countryside and magnificent coastlines which can help to make a stag party memorable for the whole group. Bars and nightclubs can be found in any big town, so choosing a stag activity out in the fresh air will help work up a thirst.
Channel your inner warrior with paintballing.
An aggressively fun activity for a bunch of lads, paintballing offers the opportunity to shoot the groom-to-be many times as a gesture of affection. On the South Island, McLeans Island outside Christchurch has a World War II theme with eight outdoor arenas. Beach Assaults, Fortress Assaults and Commando Missions should keep a group of men entertained for hours. 200 paintballs are $50 with $15 per additional 100 paintballs.

Clay Bird Shooting
Clay shooting ear protection should be supplied.
Adventures, Inc. is a company located on the North Island which offers clay pigeon shooting to stag parties. With mobile traps and a shooting host included, the company has four locations along the Ngaruroro River where the stag group can set up for a picnic and swim in the river when not shooting. The company will refuse shooting privileges to group members with too much to drink, but are happy for participants to have a glass of wine or a bottle of beer during shooting.
Full day fishing charters will work up a thirst for the stag night.
